Can you believe it this is the last blog of 2025. This year has just flown by really fast but it has been a good year visiting new places that will now be places I will visit again and again two of these new places will be Aberlady Nature Reserve & Lochwinnoch Nature Reserve.
At the end of October (Halloween) I attended a book signing of Wildlife cameraman Hamza Yassin of his new book ‘Homeward Bound’ he was very fascinating to listen to hearing all his great stories and his latest series was amazing.

Unfortunately in November I didn’t manage to go out Birding due to the wet weather and most of the weekends were taken up going to rugby matches at The Autumn Tests but I did slowly get to see birds appear again at the feeders once I put out dried mealworms out which I forgot I had so as long as I put them out might attempt more birds I will let you know in the new year. I did however one morning get to see a skein of Geese down at The River Almond so Birding was not all lost.

I would like to thank you for your support during 2025 it’s been great telling you what I have been up to each month. I do enjoy writing my blogs and planning my Birding schedule for the next month which I do have Birding trips planned before Christmas and I will tell you about that in the new year. Frosty The Christmas Feeder Snowman is back in the garden to spread Christmas cheer to my Garden Birds. I will like to wish you all a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year for 2026.
